Frequently Asked Questions

BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift)

1. What is a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) procedure?

The Brazilian Butt Lift is not a lifting procedure, it is a special fat injection procedure. The fat is mostly taken from your abdomen and waist area, washed with antibiotics and then injected into your buttocks. It will increase the volume and reshape your bottom. Your final look will be more curvaceous, with a thinner waist and rounded bottom.

2. Do I have enough fat for a BBL?

If you are a woman, most of your belly fat will be enough to increase your bottom volume. And if you have fat deposits around your waist and back, liposuction in these areas will also reshape your body. Please contact us to find out if you have enough body fat for a nice curvy BBL procedure.

3. I have a hip dip. Would a BBL procedure be suitable for my body?

Sure. Hip dips can be filled with your own body fat. For some people one session would be enough to see the expected results and for others two sessions of fat injections may give the best results. It all depends on your individual body. Please contact us for more information from the best doctors and ask for before and after photos.

4. How long will the results last?

They should last for years. However, it also depends on your unique body, it can either absorb the injected fat in a few years or more than a decade.

5. Should I exercise after my BBL procedure?

Exercise is highly recommended, such as walking, swimming, pilates, aerobics, etc. Please consult us to find out how and when you can start your chosen exercise.

6. What if I gain weight?

Please be careful with your diet and exercise programme to avoid gaining weight. Especially in the first few weeks, it is important to get enough protein, vitamins and minerals, but if you eat more unhealthy fatty foods, you will gain weight. You will not gain weight in the areas where your fat deposits are reduced. However, in other areas your fat cells will increase and you will not be able to maintain your body shape.

7. Will I need to wear a corset after the BBL procedure?

Yes. You will be asked to wear a corset for a few weeks to ensure a fast recovery and the best shape around the waist.

8. Can I sit on my bottom immediately after BBL?

No. It is important to maintain the symmetrical and rounded shape of the buttocks. Therefore, you will use a BBL cushion while sitting. Your weight will be on your legs, not on your buttocks. The BBL pillow should be used for several weeks to get the best shape.

9. What is the sleeping position after BBL?

You will be asked to sleep face down as this will help you to maintain your rounded bottom. As you can imagine, this will be a little difficult if you are used to sleeping on your side or back.

Breast Lift

1. Do I need a Breast Lift Procedure?

If you have saggy breasts those lost their volume, the nipples are looking down because you lost weight, you lost the elasticity due to age or hormonal changes, you gave birth and breast feeded, you may see this change as a problem. Then the breast lift procedure may make you happy.

2. My breasts are big and saggy, would breast lift procedure help me?

Yes. Most big breasts, which are unproportional with the body, are saggy. Reduction and lifting procedures can be applied simultaneously in order to reach an average size and a more rounded shape in the breasts. You will get rid of the pain in the shoulders and back which is due to the big breasts.

3. Can breast implants lift my breasts?

It depends on the level and shape of sagginess in the breasts. If the sagginess is only due to the volume loss and the nipples conserved their position, your body may only require breast implants to reach a lifted appearance. Please consult us to learn which procedures suit to reshape your breasts.

4. What about the scars after the breast lift procedure?

There will be incisions around the nipple and under the nipple similar to a lollipop or an anchor shape. The color of the scar will turn to pink and become whiter in one year. Or if you already have a scar problem please consult us for the alternative treatments.

5. Do I need the drains to control the bleeding?

Breast Augmentation

1. How can I enlarge my breasts?

There are two ways. One is to have breast implants. Breast implants are round or teardrop-shaped implants filled with silicone gel or saline and come in different sizes and textures.
The second option is to have fat injections taken from your own fat deposits, usually in the abdomen.

2. Is it safe to have breast implants in my body?

Breast implants are FDA approved and the risks are minimal. Although breast augmentation with implants is one of the safest procedures, a small percentage of implants can rupture.

3. Round or teardrop implants? And what about the sizes?

You and your surgeon will decide on the shape and size of the implants. It depends on your body shape, the size of your breasts, your height and your expectations. The size of the implants vary between 100cc and 800cc and different brands have different designs in diameter and protrusion size.

4. Will my breast implants last a lifetime?

Accordin to FDA, breast implants are not for life. They may need to be replaced after 10-30 years.

5. What can I expect after having fat injections in my breasts?

Breast augmentation with fat injection is an option for those who choose to have the procedure done with their own body fat, without the use of foreign material. The results will be temporary as the body absorbs the fat in a few years. If the body absorbs the fat on one side more than the other, there will be asymmetry and you may want to repeat the procedure to even it out.

6. Where will the implants be placed?

There are different techniques for placing the implants. Your surgeon will choose one based on your individual body shape, medical condition and expectations. They can be placed
– Above the muscles, which is usually preferred for patients with strong breast muscles or who want a dramatic change in the upper part.
– Below the muscles, which is preferred for patients with thin skin and little breast tissue.
– Two levels, partially under the pectoral muscles, which usually looks more natural, especially for the round shaped breast implants.

7. Can I breastfeed after breast implants?

Yes. Your milk ducts are not touched by the surgeon during this procedure. The implants are placed very close to your muscles, either below or above the muscles, an area far away from the nipples and milk ducts.

8. What is the recovery period?

If you have breast augmentation surgery, you will need to stay in hospital for one night. You will have drainage tubes to control the bleeding and you will need to empty them as they fill up. You will see the swelling go down as the weeks go by. You will need to wait at least six months to see the final results. They will feel soft and light and very natural.

9. My breasts are small and saggy. Will breast implants be enough to lift them?

Sometimes breast implants can help to lift the breasts. This depends on the degree and shape of sagging. If the sagging is only due to volume loss and the nipples have retained their position, your body may only need breast implants to achieve a lifted appearance. Please contact us to find out which procedures are suitable for you to have your breasts reshaped.
